RE: Ted Sass  -  That's Ted over there >>>>

I started a wholesale business in 1970 and continued to
operate the business for approximately 30 years, until in
1998 selling the company.

I sold to and serviced retail stores in a 5-state area,
competing not only with other distributors, but also
with the leading National manufacturers in my
category of product.

When I was positioning the company to be "SOLD", I hired
Ted Sass as Sales Manager, with the anticipation of
increasing the sales volume and profits.

His entire time was spent making "COLD CANVAS SALES CALLS", soliciting NEW accounts.

Ted Sass sold our "consumer product program", not only direct to retail stores but also to many of the largest warehouses in the U.S.

Ted was with me for approximately 3 years and, in my opinion, his performance was nothing short of outstanding.

I am very qualified to make this judgment on his performance because when I started the business, I personally performed the same "COLD CANVAS SALES WORK" for approximately 15 years.

I was then forced to discontinue this work when my doctor ordered me to stop traveling because of a back problem.  I then spent several years attempting to find a Professional Sales Person who could take over my job, traveling soliciting NEW accounts.

Although we attempted to fill this position for several years, we were not successful until we hired Ted Sass.

In my opinion, Ted Sass is "TRULY" a professional salesman and consequently he is one of those "RARE" individuals that:

·         Can walk into a prospect – make an introduction and give a professional presentation - and, most importantly, come away with a "SALE" on this very FIRST call - and without using any HIGH-PRESSURE tactics.

·         Is equally comfortable making a presentation to a single individual, or several individuals; to a large group or to a small accounts and to multi-million dollar accounts.

·         Is qualified to work as a Sales Manager or Sales Trainer.

·         Possesses sales abilities that are unique, particularly today.

·         Takes great pride in his Personal Integrity which I found to be impeccable.
